Uniform and Insignia of
Cub Scouts

Scouting has a proud tradition of uniform wear for over 100 years. When scouts put on the uniform, they are honoring themselves, representing the organization, and remembering the long tradition of good citizenship and cheerful service.

Each new scout is asked to purchase a Field Uniform, also called a "Class A" uniform. For boys and girls in Grade 1-3, this is a dark blue uniform shirt. Dark blue cargo shorts are also available, as well as skorts for the girls.
Boys and girls in 4th and 5th grade may wear the dark blue uniform or the tan shirt and green pants that they will wear in middle school and beyond in Scouts BSA.

Uniforms may be purchased online at www.scoutshop.org or by visiting BSA Outfitters in Des Peres.
